FREE ALL YEAR
JESSICA BELLE
Independent
Do blondes have more fun? You’ll have to ask JESSICA BELLE, who has just
released her new CD Free All Year (a follow up to her debut 2005 release
Just Walk Away) with a change from her former dark auburn locks to frosty
blonde. Producer BILL CHAMBERS has created a mellow atmosp here,
with seemingly effortless unpretentious backing. The songs that seem to
tumble gently from Jessica’s mouth are warm, sensitive and moody. She has
written ten of the tracks and the other two, Those Words We Said and Don’t
Think Twice It’s Alright (with Bill Chambers), seem crafted just for her.
Jessica’s own songs are delightful, slightly bluesy and melancholy, but with
a touch of hope: On My Own makes the most of Jessica’s natural vocal break.
One Lonely Tear, Let You In, Nothing Left To Lose, Cross I Can’t Bear, I
Won’t Turn Around shine on this fine young performer.
